Woman killed; suspect on the run
Brighton police would like to talk to a man about a homicide that occurred early Sept. 20.
In a press statement, police said they are looking for 33-year-old Ryan Johnson, of Brighton, in connection with the case.
Spokesman John Bradley said officers went to a disturbance at the Eastgate mobile home park about 4:45 a.m. When they arrived, they found a woman in her 30s who had been killed. The suspect got away.
Johnson is 6 feet 2 inches tall, weighs about 160 pounds, has blonde hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt and black shorts. Bradley said Johnson is believed to be armed and should be considered dangerous.
Anyone who sees Johnson, or has information about his whereabouts, should immediately call 9-1-1.Brighton

Body discovered; may be that of wanted murder suspect
Brighton police said they found a body believed to be that of a man wanted in connection with a Sept. 20 homicide.
Police spokesman John Bradley said the body was found in a field near the Eastgate trailer park, scene of the homicide.
Police have been looking for 33-year-old Ryan Johnson since about 5 a.m. Sept. 20. Police responded to the trailer park on a report of a disturbance. When they arrived, they found a woman in her 30s who had been murdered. Police issued public safety alerts about Johnson, who they believed was armed and dangerous.
A positive identification has not been made. But with the discovery of the body, police feel the danger Johnson posed to the public passed.
