Guadalupe Ayala-Vallez Teacher, 45
Guadalupe L. Ayala-Vallez of Fort Lupton, a teacher, died June 3 in Weld County. She was 45.
Services were Friday at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment was in Highland Cemetery.
She was born Sept. 30, 1951, in Denver. On Jan. 27, 1973, she married Daniel Vallez in Denver.
She taught English at Brighton High School . She was a member of the Forlorado Club and the Brighton Education Association Teacher's Union. She was also a Girl Scout leader and active in her daughter's dance troupe.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Jonah D.; a daughter, Daniela C.; her mother, Cora Montoya; eight brothers, Tony Freyta, Jesse Ayala, Sac Ayala, John Ayala, Edward Ayala, Richard Ayala, Rod Ayala and Kenneth Montoya; and two sisters, Juanita Olivas and Mary Castaneda.
