Helen Louise Ryan, 92, of Poulsbo died April 8, 2001, at her home.
She was born March 12, 1909, in Brighton, Colo., to Leonard and Elizabeth (Frey) Krambeck. She graduated from Brighton High School in 1926.
She married Richard Ryan on Oct. 31, 1931, in Brighton. He preceded her in death in 1986.
Mrs. Ryan was a homemaker. She was a member of The Order of Eastern Star, the Western Reserve Herbal Society and Silverdale Methodist Church.
Survivors include two daughters, Jane Wold of Poulsbo and Joan Bade of Boynton Beach, Fla.; three grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother.
A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. April 22 at the Masonic Temple, Third and Hostmark, in Poulsbo, with a potluck following at the home of Jane Wold. Private inurnment will be at Cherry Grove Memorial Park in Poulsbo. Arrangements are under the direction of Poulsbo Mortuary, The Stone Chapel.
