Ruth Struck
Ruth E. Struck, 83, of rural Weld County died Tuesday, Oct. 14, in Brighton.
She was born Aug. 22, 1920, in Powhattan, Kan., to John and Margaret (Kniesel) Hubach.
On Jan. 11, 1942, she married Paul Struck at Zion Lutheran Church in Brighton. He is deceased.
A lifetime resident of the Brighton area, Mrs. Struck attended Zion Lutheran School and graduated from Brighton High School. She worked as a secretary for the Adams County Assessor's Office and the Adams County Clerk and Recorder's Office from 1953 until she retired in 1980.
She was baptized, confirmed and married in Zion Lutheran Church of Brighton. She was very dedicated to her church and church family. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Auxiliary and the Good Shepherd. She enjoyed doing craft work and spending time with her family.
Survivors are two sons, Michael L. Struck of Arvada and Jim P. Struck of Brighton; two sisters, Clara Mueller of Oviedo, Fla., and Marion Kuster of Crook; a brother, George Hubach of Fremont, Calif.; three grandchildren, two stepgrandchildren, a great-grandson and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at the Zion Lutheran Church, Brighton. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery, Brighton.
