Dolores R. Pointer Martin
Dolores R. Pointer Martin, 83, of Olean died Friday, June 1, 2007, at Olean.
She was born June 2, 1923, in Brighton, to Henry and Anna Nierman Stunkel. On May 17, 1945, she was married to Keith C. Pointer, who died Sept. 23, 1961. On July 9, 1965, she was married to Stanley E.Martin, who died Feb. 25, 1971.
Mrs. Martin was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Jefferson City.
Surviving her are a son and daughter-in-law, Dan and Sarah Pointer of Olean; a daughter and son-in-law, Sylvia and Tim Allen of Olean; 10 grandchildren; April Zordel, Jennifer Wallendorf, Susan Johns, Lisa Phillips, Matthew Hoormann, Lonnie Pointer, Todd Pointer, Rachel Koenke, Linda Frazier and Kelly Homan; 14 great grandchildren; and a sisFrieda of Rocky Mount.
A son, Calvin K. Pointer, and a daughter, Jeannine Hoormann, preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Phillips Funeral Home in Eldon. Burial was in Greenridge Cemetery near Eldon.
Memorials may be made to the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Jefferson City.
