Judith H. Stephan UPPER SANDUSKY
Judith H. Stephan, 49, 502 S.7th died at 1:50 p.m. Tuesday in Flower Hospital, Sylvania. She was born Nov. 30, 1934, in Grand Junction, to Floyd R. and Cleo Hays.
On Dec. 22, 1962, in Grand Junction, she was married to Donald P. Stephan, who survives.
The graduate of Greeley College in Colorado was a former teacher and guidance counselor who had been an instructor at Lamar College, Colorado; Ohio University; and Bridgeport College, Connecticut. She assisted in college placement for Upper Sandusky students and with the Upper Sandusky swim team.Her memberships were with Trinity United Methodist Church and Beta, Chapter of Usando Literary. Club, which she was serving as president.
Also surviving are three sons, Paul Hiram, Andrew and Byron, both at home. The service will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday in Bringman and funeral home by the Rev.John Hoover. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home 6-9 p.m. Thursday. Memorial contributions may be made to Northwest Chapter, Ohio Lung Association; or Carnegie Public Library here.

Miss Judith Ann Hays of Grand Junction and Donald Page Stephan of Upper Sandusky, Ohio, were married at 2 p.m.
Saturday. The Rev. Marion G. Hixson performed the double-ring ceremony at the First Methodist Church Chapel in Grand Junction. The bride, given in marriage by her father, chose forest green wool suit with mink collar and a green feather hat. She wore a corsage of white orchids.
Mrs. Robert LaDuke, as matron of honor, wore gold wool suit with a fur-trimmed hat. Her corsage was of peppermint carnations. Robert LaDuke served as best man.
The bride's mother chose 8 green suit with harmonizing( accessories and a corsage of peppermint carnations. The bridegroom's mother selected a gold suit dress with complementing accessories, and her corsage was of peppermint carnations. Mrs. Willis Best played organ music. Chrysanthemums and red carnations were placed on the organ.
A reception at the home of the brides parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd R. Hays of Texas took place after the wedding. Decorations were in the bride's colors, red, green and white.
Assisting at the reception were Mrs. John I. Hall, the bride's aunt, from Collbran; Miss Mary Lynn Schwartz, her cousin, from Denver; and Mrs. Ralph Schultz of Midland, Texas, formerly of Grand Junction.
Mrs.Stephan is a graduate of Brighton High School, received an A.B. degree from Colorado State College in Greeley, taught high school history at Lamar and did graduate work toward her master's degree at Ohio University in Athens, Ohio. DERMODY-HAYS
The engagement of Miss Judith Ann Hays to Edwards J. Dermody, son of Mr. and Mrs.Edward J. Dermody Sr. of Denver, has been told by Miss Hays' parents, Mr. and Mrs. Floyd R.Hays of Grand Junction.
Miss Hays was graduated from Colorado State College in Greeley in 1956 and was affiliated there with Pi Kappa Sigma Sorority. She is studying for a master of arts in human relations at Ohio degree University in Athens, Ohio. Mr. Dermody attended Colorado State College and a member of Tau Kappa Epsilon Fraternity.
He is stationed with the Air Force at Warren Air Base in Cheyenne, Wyo. No wedding date has been set.
