MAN IS FOUND DEAD IN TRUCK
Oscar H. Churchwell Victim of Monoxide Gas
YAKIMA, July 11. -Oscar H. Churchwell, 45, route Selah, was found dead today in a pickup truck on Lookout Point near Selah.
Deputy Sheriff George Olson said Churchwell had taken his life connecting a hose to the exhaust pipe and running it into the truck through a hole in the rear window.

The officer said a note Churchwell had written to his wife indicated the fatal fumes had overhim shortly after 9 p.m. Saturday. The tragedy was ..................... a.m. today by Don Ott of Selah who notified officers. Mrs. Olive Churchwell, the widow, told officers her.husband had been despondent over ill health for several months. He also is survived la son, Ronnie; a daughter, Leana, and a brother.
Born in Missouri, Churchwell lived in this district 10 years. He operated a dry cleaning business in Yakima for a number of years, in recent years he was employed by another dry cleaning company here.
