NAMPA Memorial services for William Dennis Gaskins, 48, Fresno, formerly of Nampa, who died of natural causes Thursday in Madera, will be conducted at 2 p.m. Saturday at Nampa First Church of the Nazarene by the Rev. Robert L.Miller. Private family interment will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
He was born Sept. 4, 1931, in Grand Island, Neb. As a child, he moved with his parents to Brighton, where he was reared and educated.
After he completed high school, he entered the Air National Guard and served during the Korean War. In 1955, he moved to Nampa, and in 1968 to Fresno, where had since lived. At the time of his death, he was employed by the city of Fresno.
He was a member of the Fresno Moose Lodge. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs.Patricia Sack of Brighton, Mrs. Toni Tuttle of Union Gap, and Mrs. Melody Pike of Naslemoore, his mother, Mrs. Helen Gaskin of Nampa; a brother, Robert of Melba; two sisters, Mrs. Norma Horton of Boise, and Mrs.Connie Johnson of Meridian; an aunt; two granddaughters: a grandson: and several meces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and a son.
