C. Alveta Sanders
Brighton homemaker, 71
C. Alveta Sanders of Brighton, a homemaker, died Saturday at home. She was 71.
Services will be at noon today at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1454 Myrtle St., Brighton. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery there.
She was born C. Alveta Dixon on Oct. 16, 1923, in Perkins, Okla. She graduated from Brighton High School and served with the Navy during World War II. On Feb. 23, 1945, she married Guy "Sandy' R. Sanders in Oakland, Calif.
Mrs. Sanders was an active member of the LDS Church. She enjoyed genealogy and flower gardening.
She is survived by her husband; three sons, Jerry and Bob, both of Brighton, and Tony, Logan, Utah; a daughter, Kathryn Percy, Heber City, Utah; two sisters, Virginia DeSantis and Joan Sutherlin; 18 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
