 BARBARA JOY McALISTER, 55, of Denver died March 2 in Brighton. Graveside services were March 4 in Elmwood Cemetery. Mrs. McAlister was born in Henderson. She was a bookkeeper for Frontier Airlines for 24 years prior to its closure and then worked for Continental Airlines for six years. She was an avid traveler. Mrs. McAlister is survived by her husband, Ted; her mother, Beeulah Carlson of Brighton; one stepson, Ted of Aurora; two stepdaughters; Judy Ackerley of Aurora and Linda Rayfield of Golden; two brothers, James Carlson of Fort Lupton and Robin Carlson of Brighton; and two sisters, Hattie McCoy of Brighton and Julia Menard of Wimberly, Texas.
