TWO DEAD IN TWO ACCIDENTS

Two people died and several people were injured in two accidents that took place within a two-hour period Saturday night in the Denver metro area.
A Thornton woman was killed about 9:05 p.m. Saturday on northbound Interstate 25 between the University and Franklin exits.
The driver of a motorcycle, Brian Moore , 33, of Thornton, lost control and hit the center median, throwing himself and his wife, Benita Valdez- Moore , 32, from the bike, according to Denver police spokesman John White.
Valdez- Moore died as a result of her injuries, and Moore , who was taken to Denver Health Medical Center with serious injuries, was in fair condition Sunday night. Moore was cited for careless driving, White said.
