Carl R. "Fritz' Erlich of Brighton, a real estate agent, died Oct. 19 in Guymon, Okla. He was 77.
Services were Oct. 24 at First Presbyterian Church in Brighton. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
Erlich was born May 8, 1917, in Shattuck, Okla. He attended Brighton high School and Oklahoma A&M College. He served as a flight instructor in the Army Air Corps During World War II.
He was active in numerous organizations including the Brighton Fire Department, the American Legion, the VFW and the Adams County Fair.
He is survived by his wife, Erline, Brighton; a daughter, Carla D. McGuire, Nebraska; a sister, Alice Smith, Loveland; and two grandchildren.
