Denton Record-Chronicle (TX)

Carol Ann Nabors , 61, of Denton, passed away Saturday, August 16, 2008 at her home where she was loved and cared for by her husband and daughters. She was born November 21, 1946 in Las Animas, CO to James and Clara Alley. She graduated from Brighton High School in Brighton, CO. She married Theodore Paul Nabors on May 14, 1976 in Brighton, CO. For 20 years Carol was a Senior Beauty Advisor for Walgreen's, and a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church since 2005. Carol 's passions in life were her 2 grandbabies, Timothy Glen Gustafson (2 years old) and Laura Ann Gustafson (11 months old). 

Rosary will be said Friday, August 22, 2008 at 7 p.m. by Father Isaac Orozco at DeBerry Funeral Directors. A Funeral Mass will be Saturday, August 23, 2008 at 10 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church with Msgr. Charles King officiating. Pallbearers will be Gary Daigle, Travis Harris, Michael Berg, Jonathan Berg, and Keith Gustafson. Burial will be at Forest Park Cemetery in Houston on Monday, August 25, 2008 at 11 a.m. 

She is survived by her husband, Paul Nabors of Denton; daughters, Amy Luman of Denton, Tamara Luman of Denton and Patricia Gustafson and husband, Keith of Panguitch, UT; mother, Clara Staup and stepfather, Lewis Staup of Brighton, CO; brother, Fred Staup of Brighton, CO.; grandson, Timothy Gustafson and granddaughter, Laura Gustafson, both of Panguitch UT. She is preceded in death by her father, James Alley; brother, Paul Staup; and sister, Janice Sue Bayer. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Relay For Life, Denton County, c/o American Cancer Society, P.O. Box 9652, Fort Worth, Texas 76147.
