The funeral for Charles F. "Chuck" Sharrai, Jr., 43, of Fremont is 10 a.m. Monday at the Church of the Nazarene in Fremont.
He died Wednesday, Aug. 15, 2001, at A.J. Merrick Manor in Fremont.
He was born March 8, 1958, in Ontario, Ore. He grew up in Payette, Idaho, and Brighton, Colo. He was a 1977 graduate of Brighton High School. He attended the Denver Institute of Technology for one year. He served in the U.S. Army from June 28, 1983, to Feb. 1, 1984. He moved to Fremont in 1987. He married Judy Miller Dec. 5, 1987, in Fremont. He was employed at Valmont Industries in Valley as a welder.
He was a member of the Church of the Nazarene in Fremont and a former member of the Izaak Walton League in Fremont.
Survivors include: his wife; a son, Chad Sharrai of Arvada, Colo.; a daughter, Danyelle (Mrs. James) Dinges of Brighton; his parents, Charles and Maxine Sharrai of Brighton; a brother, Randy (and wife, Janet) Sharrai of Brighton and two sisters, Gail (Mrs. Ron) Riedelsperger of Brighton and Lori Harwood of Fremont.
The Rev. Tom Shaw will officiate Monday's service. Visitation is 1-8 p.m. Sunday at Moser Memorial Funeral Chapel in Fremont, with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. Visitation continues one hour prior to service time at the church. The military graveside service will be conducted by the Fremont Honor Guard of V.F.W. Post 854 and American Legion Post 20 at Ridge Cemetery in Fremont.
