Chuck Sandoval
U.S. veteran Chuck Sandoval, 59, of Brighton, died June 15, 2009, in Brighton.
He was born Sept. 23, 1949, in Denver, to Margarito and Mary F. (Sisneros) Sandoval. He was a 1968 graduate of Brighton High School and attended tech school for two years. He married Yolanda “Lollie” Chavez June 26, 1988, in Brighton.
Chuck was a warehouse supervisor for Sam’s Produce Inc. in Denver for 32 years. He was a veteran of the United States Army for service in the Vietnam War. He earned a Purple Heart. Chuck was a member of the Brighton VFW, the Brighton Eagle Lodge and the Riverdale Ward of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Survivors include his wife; sons, Michael Sandoval and David (Miranda) Allen, both of Brighton, and Richard (Lisa) Allen of Bellevue, Neb.; mother-in-law, Tina Grimm; brothers, Kenneth (Susie) Sandoval, Allen Sandoval, Lyle (Michelle) Sandoval, Adrian (Sophie) Sandoval, Duane Sandoval and Eric (Shelly) Sandoval, all of Brighton; sisters, Maxine (Joseph) Morales and Valerie Sandoval, both of Brighton; and four grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by daughter, Ashley, in 1988.
Memorial service was June 18 at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home in Brighton and a graveside service followed at Fort Logan National Cemetery in Denver.
