Clara M. Heitman Ritchey of Brighton, a bookkeeper, died Aug. 12 in Brighton. She was 90.
Services were Monday at First Baptist Church of Brighton. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
She was born July 6, 1907 in Brighton. She married Phinace R. "PR" Ritchey. He preceded her in death.
She was a bookkeeper for Burch Electric in Fort Lupton for 17 years. She also worked for Verna Heitschmidte catering for several years.
She was a 52-year member of Lorraine Chapter No. 52 of the Order of the Eastern Star and was a volunteer for Platte Valley Medical Center for 25 years. She was a charter member of First Baptist Church of Brighton and was honored as a 75-year member in 1996.
Her interests included gardening, traveling, crafts, and collecting and refinishing antiques.
She is survived by three sons, Ralph F., Fort Morgan, Eugene B., Brighton, and Clinton D., Hudson; twin daughters, Karen K. Caldwell, Tulsa, Okla., and Sharon C. Lewis, Brighton; 13 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
