Daniel Lehl
Chemical operator, 78
Daniel Lehl of Brighton, a chemical operator, died July 9 at his home. He was 78.
Services were Tuesday at Rice Mortuary. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born July 7, 1921, in Adams County. He graduated from Brighton High School , then served in the Navy for nine years.
On Oct. 27, 1969, he married Cartensie Fitzgerald in Las Vegas.
Lehl was a chemical operator for the Rocky Mountain Arsenal and worked at the Brighton Sugar Factory.
His hobbies were gardening and fishing, and he was a member of the Brighton Veterans of Foreign Wars.
He is survived by his wife; a stepdaughter, Dani Starr, Littleton; a sister, Elizabeth Schick, Strasburg; a brother, Samuel, Portland, Ore.; and a granddaughter.
