Mr. Edward M. "Ed" Mitchell (1963 - 2013)
Edward "Ed" M. Mitchell, 49, of Moundridge, Kan., formally of Brighton, passed away March 6, 2012. He was born Aug. 24, 1963, at Quantico, Va.
Ed was raised in Brighton and was a Moundridge resident for 15 years. He had been employed as a restaurant worker and cook at the Pepper Pod Restaurant in Hudson and The Depot in Brighton for many years.
He is survived by his mother, Amy M. Mitchell, of Brighton; six brothers and one sister: Jim (Sharon) Mitchell, of Brighton, Jeff Mitchell, of California, Elizabeth "Liz" (Dave) Johnson, of Moundridge, Kan., Mark (Lara) Mitchell, of Brighton, William "Bill" (Christie) Mitchell, of Brighton, Jerry Mitchell, of Washington, and Joe Mitchell, of Brighton. He is also survived by two nephews and three nieces: Amanda Mitchell, of Arkansas, Jeremy Johnson and Megan Johnson, of Moundridge, Kan., Jennifer Mitchell, of Brighton, and Bryan Mitchell, of Greeley.
Memorial service will follow at a later date.

Edward "Ed" M. Mitchell, 49, died March 6, 2013. He was born Aug. 24, 1963, at Quantico, Virginia
A Moundridge resident for 15 years, he had been employed at the Moundridge Food Market Deli and Pine Village.
He is survived by: six brothers; a sister, Liz (Dave) Johnson, Moundridge; nieces including ,Megan Johnson, McPherson; nephews including, Jeremy Johnson, Moundridge.
Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Moundridge Funeral Home, Moundridge, is assisting the family with arrangements.
