Fannie E. Martinez (Sisneros)

Fannie E. Martinez (Sisneros), 76, of Northglenn, died May, 2, 2012, at home. 

She was born March 22, 1936, in Brighton, to Jerry F. and Maria Carina Sisneros. She attended Brighton High School and retired from the University of Colorado Health Science Center. 

She married Anastacio W. Martinez in 1956. Survivors include sisters Carol Lopez, of Brighton, Beverly Ramirez, of Nebraska, and Irene Martinez, of California; brothers, Jerry Sisneros, of Brighton, and Gene Sisneros, of Alabama; a daughter, Kimberly Martinez, of Northglenn; two granddaughters, April Martinez, of Denver, and Emily Coppelin, of Thornton, and a great-grandson, Andre Brown, of Denver. She was preceded in death by her parents. 

Funeral services will be at 1 pm., May 12, at Mile Hi Church, 9077 W. Alameda Ave., Lakewood. A celebration of life dinner will be from 2 to 7 p.m., May 27, at the Northglenn VFW, 10217 Quivas St. Memorial gifts may be made to the Martinez family, 261 E. 106th Ave., Northglenn, CO 80233,
