George Thomas Metcalfe, 77, of Soulsbyville died Saturday at his home.
Mr. Metcalfe was a native of Carr, Colo. He lived in Soulsbyville 43 years. He was a construction supervisor for U.S. Steel for 30 years and also had worked in road construction for the George Reed Co. for 15 years.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell Metcalfe of Soulsbyville; children, Chris Metcalfe of Saratoga and Linda Metcalfe of Sonora; and one grandchild.
Inurnment will be in the family plot at a Santa Clara cemetery. Terzich & Wilson Funeral Chapel of Sonora is in charge of arrangements.
