Georgia L. Haller
Georgia L. Haller, 60, died June 24, 2011, in Wickenburg, Ariz.
Georgia was born Sept. 7, 1950, in Denver, to Bobby Emil Dowd and Juanita Miller Dowd. She was raised in Colorado and always enjoyed and worked with horses. She had been active in the rodeo circuit and worked as a co-owner of Haller Horses with her husband, Jesse “Babe” Haller.
In her early years she had received various awards for horsemanship and participated in many cowboy and rodeo events. She and Babe and daughter, Suzie, team roped together for years. The family began wintering in Arizona in 1983. She was preceded in death by her husband in 2007; and daughter in 2008.
No formal services will be held at Georgia’s request. Wickenburg Funeral Home handled arrangements.
