Harold Roy "Butch" Wagy, 74, a good man, left this earth on Sunday, Oct. 18 while in the care of Hospice and Palliative Care at North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley.
He was lovingly known as Butch, a nickname given to him by his father. He was a Colorado native, born in Longmont and graduating from Brighton High School. He served his country in the U.S. Navy for eight years.
He married Shirley Henry 51 years ago.
Butch leaves behind his wife, a sister and her family, five children and their spouses, and 10 beautiful grandchildren.
The family extends its heartfelt thanks to family, friends and Hospice for all their support, love and prayers and would like everyone to remember the saying, "Death leaves a heartache no one can heal. Love leaves a memory no one can steal."
Recitation of the Rosary: 11 a.m., Friday at Our Lady of the Valley Catholic Church, 1250 7th St., Windsor. Memorial Mass at 11:30 a.m. and fellowship following.
Inurnment: 2:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 30 at Fort Logan National Cemetery.
