HERBERT R. McCARTNEY , 60, of Henderson died April 25 in Brighton. A memorial service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, May 7, at Platte Valley Mortuary Chapel, 83 N. Fourth Ave., Brighton. Mr. McCartney was born in Denver on March 27, 1939. He married Shirley Taylor, 1958. He was a truck-driving instructor. Survivors include his wife; daughter Tami Archer of Denver; sons David of Brighton, Joseph and Andrew, both of Henderson; sister Wanda Gorman of Denver; five grandchildren.
