Baker, 60
Irene LaFurney , 60, of Brighton, a baker, died Dec. 19 in Brighton. Mass was said Dec. 21 at St. Augustine Catholic Church. Interment was in Fort Logan National Cemetery.
She was born March 6, 1941, in Brighton. On Dec. 27, 1970, she married Walter LaFurney in Las Vegas. She had worked for Daylight Donuts since 1997. She formerly worked at Perkins in Aurora and Lucky's Supermarket in Las Vegas.
She is survived by her husband; a son, Brian, Brighton; and four sisters, Mary Jane Nichol, Cheyenne, Donna Wolf, Arvada, and Janet Scott and Sharon Cutler, both of Brighton.
