JAMES L. GREEN, 80, of Brighton died April 21. Services were April 25. Mr. Green was born in Watkins on Feb. 24, 1920. He married Edna Arnold, 1944. He worked for the Department of Agriculture and was a rancher. He also worked as a broker and Realtor with Mulford, Lambert Realty of Brighton. He was a board member of United Power for 45 years and School District 27J for 17 years. He founded the Adams County Fair and Rodeo. He was past exalted ruler of the Brighton Elks No. 1586. He was past president of the Farmers Union, Adams County Colorado State University Alumni Association and past vice president of Tri-State Generation and Transmission Co. Survivors include his wife; daughters Judy Beauprez of Brighton, Janice of Aurora; sons James of Nebraska, Jerald; sister Alma Tracy of Brighton; nine grandchildren.
