 JAMES ELMER HIGHLEY, 56, of Brighton died Sept. 11. Services will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 16, in Bear Valley Christian Church with burial at Fort Logan National Cemetery. Mr. Highley was born May 22, 1940, in Hudson. He retired from the Army after 21 years of service and was employed as a truck driver. Survivors include a son, Brent of Texas; and three sisters, Jeannette Drake of Arvada, Dorothy Gordon of Hudson and Yvonne Owens of Fort Lupton.
