WOMAN, INFANT SON KILLED WHEN CAR RUNS OFF WELD COUNTY ROAD

A Hudson woman and her 9-month-old son were killed Monday night when her car and a van both ran off the road at a Weld County intersection
Jamie Marie Taylor , 23, and her son, Shelby D. Taylor , died instantly, Colorado State Patrol troopers said.
Taylor , who was driving a 1993 four-door Ford was traveling south on Colorado 60 at about 10 p.m. A 1989 Plymouth van, driven by Rodney Tow, 37, of Johnstown, was headed west on Weld County Road 42.
Troopers said both vehicles ran off the intersection and crashed. Tow suffered broken bones and internal injuries.

A story on Page 26A Wednesday reported incorrect information about a victim in a Weld County traffic accident Monday. Chelbi Taylor , an 8-month-old girl, and her mother, Jamie MarieTaylor , 23, died when a van ran a stop sign and hit their car.

* CHELBI RAE TAYLOR, 8 months, of Hudson died March 31 near Gilcrest in an auto accident. Memorial services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, April 4, at the Kingdom Hall, 313 S. Grape, in Hudson. Chelbi was born in Canon City on July 9, 1996. Survivors include her father Daniel of Hudson; brother Garrett of Hudson; grandparents Larry and Saundra Pummel of Byers, Tim and Diane of Platteville; great-grandparents George and Elaine of Hudson, Lois Kier of Greeley, Clyde and Donna Pummel of Lakewood, Shirley Wilson of Arvada and Marvin Ehorn of Arvada.
