Four Persons Die in Colorado Crashes
(AP) Four persons died in separate accidents on Colorado highways on Tuesday and Wednesday, hiking the states 1974 fatality count to 479, compared to 540 on this date last year.
The State Patrol identified the victims as Danny E. Smith, 29, Mount Clair, CA; Janice E. Trostel, 40, Denver; Tamera J. Gaston, 16, Denver; and Janet Kauer, 17, Brighton.

Miss Kauer died Tuesday night about three hours after she was struck by a car in Brighton. Officers said she was not in a crosswalk when hit by a car driven by Jim Heiser, 26, of Thornton, who was not injured.
