Emma Jean Moffitt Gould


Emma Jean Moffitt Gould died Sunday, July 14, 2013, at her home in Franklin, Idaho, after a determined struggle to defeat cancer. She was 66 years old.

Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 18, at Webb Funeral Home, 1005 S. 800 E., Preston, ID.

Jean Moffitt was born May 30, 1947, in Denver, the daughter of Robert Manning and Rose Ann Bryant Moffitt.

Her family said she was a respected member of her community, and she looked forward to donating her time and resources to many of the community activities that took place throughout the year. Her greatest joys were spending time with her husband of 32 years, Bruce, and her sons and grandchildren. They said she loved to golf and travel.

She is survived by her husband, Bruce, of Franklin, Idaho; son Brodie Gould and his wife Gloria of Round Rock, Texas; 12 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and three sisters.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her son Brian, and her brother Dan Moffitt.
