Crash victim identified - 4-car collision injures four others

A 36-year-old man from Capulin died Monday night in a four-car crash on Interstate 25 that injured four others.
The Colorado State Patrol said a southbound vehicle crossed the median near the South Academy Boulevard exit and struck a northbound vehicle head-on.
Gerald J. Nuanes , was driving south in the northbound lanes of I-25. He was pronounced dead at the scene. He was not wearing a seat belt, authorities said.
A woman and child traveling north were taken to Memorial Hospital.
Eileen Quintana, 21, suffered fractured legs and a broken shoulder.
Her 2-year-old passenger, Isaiah Sandoval, was treated for possible internal and head injuries.
Sandoval was released Tuesday. Quintana was in serious condition.
Two other northbound vehicles crashed into the wreckage, injuring two men.
James Bouck, 38, the driver of a 1990 Plymouth Voyager, was treated Tuesday for minor head and chest injuries at Memorial Hospital and released.
Chin Hong Kim, 52, who was driving a 1995 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme, received minor facial injuries and refused medical treatment.
The Colorado State Patrol is still investigating the cause of the crash.
