Jerry Ray Wright, 57, formerly of Brighton, died Nov. 7, 2008. 

He was born July 25, 1951, in Aurora, Mo., with his twin sister, Kay, to Jerry and Maxine Wright. Ray spent his childhood in Brighton. He participated in many sports and played football with the Brighton High School Bulldogs. In 1969, the family moved to Spokane, Wash., where Ray lived the majority of his life. 

With a career in the home surfaces industry, Ray worked for both local and national firms traveling extensively throughout the Northwest as a sales rep. 

Survivors include his father, of Liberty Lake, Wash.; sisters, Kay Davisson of Liberty Lake, and Liz Gaskins of Highlands Ranch; daughters, Jennifer, Stephanie and Melissa, all of Spokane; five grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. 

Ray was preceded in death by his mother.
