Business operator, 61 

Jessie S. Garcia , 61, of Denver, a business operator, died Dec. 10 in Denver. Mass was said Thursday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery. 

She was born Oct. 6, 1940, in Fort Lupton. On June 18, 1960, she married Jose Garcia in Brighton. She helped to operate the family business, Jose Garcia Construction Company. Her interests included traveling and taking trips to the mountains to camp and fish. 

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Julie Garcia -Snyder, Thornton, Katherine Ochoa, Westminster, and Brenda Dennis, Erie; her mother, Jennie Sailas; two brothers, Victor Sailas and John Sailas, all of Wattenberg; four sisters, Dorothy Vargas, Brighton, Loretta Carpenter, Westminster, Patricia Olivas, Fort Lupton, and Mary DeHerrera, Wattenberg; and five grandchildren.
