John Russell Sherffius
John Russell Sherffius, 71, of Medford, died March 15, 2005 at his home.
He was born on March 20, 1933, in Cortland, Kansas to John Gordon and Virgie Marie (Russell) Sherffius. He married Lorraine Homsany in Los Angeles, CA, who survives.
— Mr. Sherffius served in the Naval Air during the Korean War. He was based at Point Mugu, CA.
— He worked as an aerospace engineer.
— In addition to his wife, Lorraine, survivors include his children, John Rodger Sherffius and Barbara Jean Guenther; his sister, Betty Homsany; and his sister-in-law, Catherine Homsany; and five grandchildren, Erin Guenther, Aimee Guenther, Hannah Sherffius, Avery Sherffius, Kate Sherffius.

— A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 18, 2005 at 10 a.m. at the Perl Funeral Home, 2100 Siskiyou Blvd. Medford, Oregon.
