Jolene Ann Brase, 66, of Fort Collins, Colorado, died Friday, July 27, 2007 at Good Samaritan Village. Jolene was born September 2, 1940 in Juniata, Nebraska to Walter and Helen (Beckmann) Brase. She attended Lutheran grad schools in Whittemore, Iowa, Sterling and Brighton, Colorado, and graduated from high school in Brighton in 1959. She worked for May D&F in the Mail Order Department in Denver for over 30 years. In 2001 she became a resident of Good Samaritan Village in Fort Collins. Jolene enjoyed reading, watching sports programs on television, especially the Colorado teams, collecting stamps, cups and saucers, and purses. She also enjoyed the various activities offered at Good Samaritan. Jolene is survived by her sister, Cheryl Hansen of Fort Collins; brothers, Jerry Brase and his wife Virginia of Davenport, Nebraska and Myron Brase of Olathe, Kansas; seven nieces and nephews and their families. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother-in-law, and infant brother. A memorial service will be held at Peace With Christ Lutheran Church in Fort Collins on Tuesday, July 31, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. Interment will be in Saratoga, Wyoming at a later date. Memorials may made be made to Good Samaritan Village in care of Resthaven Funeral Home.
