Jonathan Frederick Koosmann went home to Heaven Friday, May 24th, 2013 after his two children arrived from North Texas and Colorado.
Born May 19, 1935 in Forest Township, St. Croix County, Wisconsin, Jonathan was the son of Olga and Ruben Koosmann. He was an active member of Hospitality Accountants Association since 1967 and was employed by hotels and hotel companies in several states. In more recent years, he was employed by non-profit associations as the financial professional. Jonathan was an active member of Redeemer Lutheran church where he supported many Ministries.
Jonathan married Rose Carpenter on September 16, 1955, several years after they graduated from Brighton Colorado High School.
Jonathan was preceded in death by his daughter, Rhonda Susanne. He is survived by his wife, Rose; a son, Brad; and a daughter, Cherise; who will miss him dearly, as well as, his two grandsons, Logan and Quinton.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Redeemer Lutheran Church, any Lutheran School or Service Group, or to Cancer Research.
A memorial service honoring Jonathan's memory will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 28, 2013, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 1500 W. Anderson Lane, Austin.
