I am sorry to let you know of my sadness. I know that this is not the most personal way to let you know, but I cannot fully pull myself together enough to call each and every one of the people who knew and loved my mom and explain what has happened. My mom found out about her Acute Myloid Leukemia on June 18, 2015. She began treatment and was trying her very best to recover from that blood cancer. Last night, her post chemo recovery phase proved to be too much for her to fight any longer. It was the hardest thing that I've ever been through in my life, but I needed to respect her decision and be there for her when she needed to give up her fight. My brother and I were with her last night when she made her hard decision, holding her hands and telling her how much we, and all of you dear friends and family, love her. She succumbed to a very fast developing pneumonia at 3:30 this morning. She, along with Jeff and I, wanted you to know how she loved her life, and sharing bits and moments of it with her family and friends. Thank you all so much for your prayers, your love and kindness for for my mom and for us, and in Mom's honor, we ask that you give hugs and love to your friends and family. God gives each of us one life to live and love to share with others. We are working on putting together some sort of a service for next weekend and will let you know of details, hopefully, in the next week. We know that our mom rests in peace with our Heavenly Father and we send you her love and gratitude for being a part of her life.
