Kylee Renee Thyfault
Kylee Renee (Hellbusch) Thyfault, of Brighton, 43, died November 15, 2008, at her home after a 10-month cancer illness.
She was born Sept. 26, 1965, in Wheat Ridge, to Ron and Judy (George) Hellbusch. She was raised and lived in Brighton and Adams County. Kylee graduated from Brighton High School in 1985. She played on the tennis team and volleyball teams and was active in the school newspaper. Kylee attend Metro State College. She graduated from the Delta Airlines Flight School in 1986 and was a professional flight attendant for 18 years. Kylee was a special education aid at Brighton East Charter School from 2005 to 2008.
Kylee raised buffalo in Nebraska, formed a party and events consulting business, spent every year in Yellowstone National Park.
Kylee and Mike Thyfault married on Valentine’s Day, Feb. 14, 2005. Mike, Kylee, and their children, Jade and Brittney, lived in Brighton since their marriage. Both were classmates at Brighton High School.
Survivors include her children, Jade Taylor Hellbusch Thyfault and Brittney Thyfault, her mother Judy (George), of Erie, father, Ron (Irma) Hellbusch, of Westminster; brothers, Mark, of Superior, and Jay, of Helena, Mont.
A rosary will be said at 7 p.m., Tuesday, Nov. 18 and funeral mass will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Nov. 19 at St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in Brighton, Sixth Avenue and Egbert Streets.
In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions be made to the Jade Hellbusch College Trust Fund, sent to Wells Fargo Bank, 598 Summit Blvd, Broomfield, 80021.
