Lawrence "Lencho" Montoya of Northglenn, a laundry worker, died Saturday in Thornton. He was 59.
Services will be at 9:30 a.m. today at St. Augustine Catholic Church, 675 E. Egbert in Brighton. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
He was born May 25, 1939, in Brighton. On June 10, 1961, he married Virginia O. Solano in Brighton. He served in the Army during the Vietnam War.
His interests included fishing, camping, and travel.
He is survived by his wife; his mother, Ida, Brighton; three brothers, Alfred "Roy," Broomfield, George, Northglenn, and Paul, Brighton; four sisters, Priscilla "Percy" and Virginia Griego, both of Brighton, Louise Lucero, Thornton, and Kathy Vigil, Commerce City; and one half-sister, Isabelle Romero, Riverside, Calif.
