Lea Ann Doss of Brighton, a student, died May 30 in Commerce City. She was 17.
Services were Tuesday at Zion Lutheran Church in Brighton. Interment was in Elmwood Cemetery there.
She was born Sept. 16, 1979, in Denver. She was a junior at Brighton High School , where she served as secretary of the VICA program. Her interests included fixing cars and welding.
She worked part-time for Grease Monkey and had previously worked for the school district.
She is survived by her parents, Kathy Yarbrough and Kenneth, both of Brighton; a sister, Julie, Brighton; and her grandmother, Blanche Sufka, Brighton.
