LENA CHAVEZ JASO, 71, of Brighton died Oct. 3. Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 7, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, Brighton.
Mrs. Jaso was born Lena Chavez in St. Vrain on June 2, 1927. She married Ignacio Gallegos and later Alex Jaso. She was an office manager for insurance companies. She enjoyed camping.
Survivors include son Chris of Brighton; daughter Linda Gallegos Martinez of Northglenn; sisters Emma Morales of Thornton, Jennie Villegas of Lafayette; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.

Lena Chavez Jaso of Brighton, an office manager, died Oct. 3 in Northglenn. She was 71.
Memorial services will be 10 a.m. today at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Brighton. There will be cremation.
She was born June 2, 1927, in St. Vrain. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Ignacio Gallegos. Her second husband, Alex Jaso, also preceded her in death.
She worked at several insurance companies. Her interests included camping, dancing, cooking and Bible study.
She is survived by a son, Chris Gallegos, Brighton; a daughter, Linda Gallegos Martinez, Northglenn; two sisters, Emma Morales, Thornton, and Jennie Villegas, Lafayette; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
