Lloyd Eldon Brady of Boulder died of cancer on Sunday, Nov. 24, 2002, in Boulder. He was 67.
The son of Roy E. Brady and Priscilla Lloyd Brady, he was born on May 18, 1935, in Colorado Springs. He married Edna Reeves on Jan. 28, 1961.
He attended Brighton High School and the University of Colorado.
Mr. Brady was a member of the BPOE Elks Lodge No. 566 of Boulder.
He moved to Boulder County in 1953.
His family said he loved his dog Duke, he enjoyed fishing, camping, boating and water-skiing, bridge, music, history, genealogy and carpentry, and he was a sports fan.
Survivors include his wife of Boulder; a son, Lloyd "Tiger" Brady of Boulder; a daughter, Michele "Shelley" Madden of Broomfield; his mother, Priscilla Morton of Colorado Springs; a sister, Betty Younger of Brighton; a half-sister, Mary Lou Lawrence of Colorado Springs; a half-brother, Michael Morton of Springdale, Ark.; and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepfather, Dean Morton.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Crist Mortuary, 3395 Penrose Place, Boulder. Member of Elks Lodge No. 566 will officiate.
