Lowell D. Trunkenbolz
Lowell D. Trunkenbolz , 80, of Brighton, died April 14, 2012, at Denver Hospice after a battle with multiple myeloma cancer.
Lowell was born May 2, 1931, in Nora, Neb., to Charles and Lulu (Smith) Trunkenbolz . He was the fifth of five children. He married Doris Gordon, daughter of John and Irene Gordon, on Dec. 16, 1951, in Brighton. He served four years in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean war.
Survivors include his wife; daughters Debbie Trunkenbolz (Julie), of Denver, Crystal Hamilton (Kim), of Brighton; son, Lee (Teri), of Bertrand, Neb.; three granddaughters; one great-granddaughter; brother, Al (Elsie) Trunkenbolz , of Brighton; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Alvin and Robert; and a sister, Wilma.
A memorial service will be 2 p.m., Friday, June 8, at the Brighton Elks Lodge, 101 N. Main St. A reception will follow.
