Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sept. 19 at Ahlberg Funeral Chapel in Longmont for Lucretia Ruth Hose, who died Thursday, Sept. 2, 1999, at St. Anthony’s Central Hospital in Denver of complications after a lengthy battle with multiple sclerosis. She was 59.
There was cremation.
Mrs. Hose was born Oct. 22, 1939, in Denver. The family lived on a farm north of Brighton. She married Wayne Hose on June 7, 1959, and moved to Denver.
Mrs. Hose worked for Public Service Co. and Safeway. After living in Denver for several years she moved to Montrose, where she and her husband owned and operated a dry cleaning business. They were also partners in a manufacturing business. They moved to Durango in 1986, where Mrs. Hose lived until she recently moved back to Denver.
Survivors include two sons, Kurt Hose of Thornton, Colo., and Scott Hose of Durango; one grandson, Wayne Austin Hose of Thornton, Colo.; her mother, Lorene Burris of Riverton, Wyo.; and her brother, LeRoy Delventhal of Riverton, Wyo.
