Joyce Marie VonFeldt
Joyce Marie VonFeldt, 76, of Eckert, passed on Saturday, July 27, 2013, at the Montrose Memorial Hospital.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 2, 2013, at St. Philip's Catholic Church in Cedaredge. Burial will follow at the Cedaredge Cemetery. Viewing for family and friends will be held one hour prior to mass.
She was born Nov. 7, 1936, in Brighton, the daughter of Harold Edgar Paulson and Alta Pauline Buchtel.
Joyce and Art were married on March 31, 1954, in Brighton. They spent the majority of their marriage in Brighton, raising and nurturing their children and grandchildren before moving to the Western Slope. Joyce was a loving and patient mother and grandmother. She was happiest when surrounded by her family, friends and loved ones. Second to her family was her passion as a healthcare provider to the elderly. She was very creative with words, playing games and puzzles as well as arts and crafts and loved the outdoors. Over the years, she became a very skilled wine maker pleasing her family and friends with every batch

She is survived by her husband, Arthur VonFeldt, of Eckert; four children, Robert Arthur VonFeldt, of Brighton, William Joseph VonFeldt, of Thornton, Teresa Joy VonFeldt-Johnson, of Fort Lupton, Lori Marie VonFeldt, of Colorado Springs; her sister Beverly Zimmerle, brother Vernon Paulson, and many many loving grandchildren, great grandchildren and other family and friends

The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Joyce's memory to Bosom Buddies Cancer Support Group of Southwestern Colorado, P.O. Box 1263, Montrose, Colorado 81402.
