 Mario J. Lucio Former Brighton resident, 31 

Mario J. Lucio, a former Brighton resident, died Saturday in Lithonia, Ga. He was 31. 

Mass will be said at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Augustine Chuirch, 675 E. Egbert St. Brighton, Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery. 

He was born Feb. 4, 1966, in San Angelo, Texas. He graduated from Brighton High School . 

He was employed as a welder at McGean Rohco in Georgia. 

He held the state champion in power weight-lifting. His interest included weight training, fishing, hunting and the University of Colorado Buffaloes. 

He is survived by his parents, Ruben and Eloisa Lucio, Brighton; four brothers, Leroy, Pueblo, Ruben Jr. Thornton, Oscar and Andrew, both of Brighton; and three sisters, Linda medina, Denver, Lydia Scothorn, Northglenn, and patricia Zapien, Brighton.
