Mark Alarid, 48, of Brighton, died July 19, 2011, in Denver. 

He was born Jan. 24, 1963, in Brighton, to Roland Alarid and Sandra Leach. 

Mark, who attended Brighton High School , was a construction worker who specialized in dry wall and in electrician work. 

He loved to work on bicycles. He was a good, hard-working man and a friend to many. 

He is survived by his parents; his wife, Jaime; four children, Daniel, Sandra, Jordan and Russell; a brother, Eric, and his son, Eric, and a daughter, Gemini. 

He was preceded in death by a brother, Daniel. 

A celebration of life will be from 6 to 10 p.m., July 28, at the Brighton Knights of Columbus Hall, 1096 E. Bridge St.
