1936-2015
Mary Jane "Jane" Nichol, 79, of Cheyenne passed away April 10 at her home.
Jane was born Jan. 17, 1936, in Brighton, Colo., daughter of the late Joseph and Susan (Schmidt) Roskop.
Jane was a homemaker, and she enjoyed caring for her home and her family. She was always willing to try something new, and her many interests included camping, fishing, bowling, cooking, sewing and baking. She was also a founding member of Cheyenne Ladies of the Elks.
Jane is survived by her loving husband, David Nichol of Cheyenne; four children, Robin Stewart and husband Bob of Brighton, Deanne Semroska, Patrick Nichol and wife Brenda, and Susan Lucero and husband Frank Jr., all of Cheyenne; three sisters, Janet Scott, Sharon Cutler and husband Dale, and Donna Wolf; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Irene LaFurney.
A funeral liturgy will be celebrated at 1 p.m. today at St. Joseph's Catholic Church. Cremation is under the care of Schrader Funeral Home.
