Mary Ann Brethauer-Farson, 68, of Las Cruces, N.M., passed away Saturday, Aug. 10, 2013. She was born March 17,1945, to Edward and Barbara Schumacher in Brighton, Colo.
Mary Ann attended school in Brighton. She was a life long housewife, and enjoyed spending time with her grand kids. In her spare time she love to dutch hop and dance to country music.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband, Gregory K. Farson of Las Cruces, N.M.; two sons, Brian J. Burt of Loveland, and Jack J. Brethauer of North Platte, Neb.; three daughters, Kimberley Brethauer of Lincoln City, Ore., Denise and husband, Robert E. Hettinger of Eaton, and Tanya Brethauer of Denver; nine grandchildren, Randy R. Pief, Roman Smolcic, MaKayLa Seabold, William Mosley, Shania Mosley, Dawnika Mosley, Katelyn Mosley, Jake Brethauer and Kirsten Brethauer; two great-grandchildren, Keaton and Kylee Peif; brother-in-law, Jerrold Brethauer and wife, Starla; sister-in-law, Norma Schumacher; and many nieces, nephews, and special life long friends, Herman and Fran Reigenborn.
She was preceded in death by both parents; brothers, Leroy and Leo Schumacher; and husband, Jack Brethauer.
Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 17 at the Kersey Community Church in Kersey.
