Phillip Guy Decker, 19, of Loveland, died Aug. 4, 2000, from injuries sustained in an auto accident.
He was born May 24, 1981, in Denver, and lived in Brighton until 1998. He and his family moved to Loveland in 1998, where he attended Thompson Valley High School.
He was involved in 4-H in Brighton for many years. He also had a love for wrestling, in which he lettered as a freshman for the Brighton Bulldogs. He was involved in other sports and activities in both Brighton and Loveland. He was currently employed at Majestic Fence and planned on attending college this fall.
Survivors include his parents, Phiilip and Debbie Decker of Loveland; sister Jennifer Decker of Loveland; brother Donald Decker of Loveland; grandmother Ginny Gilmer of Brighton; aunts and uncles Sharon and Doug Saba of Brighton, Karen and Paul Southard of Brighton, Jim and Jaque Decker of Arvada, and Wesley and Bobbi Decker of Skiatook, Okla; many cousins; and friend Fawn Scott.
Services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Resurrection Fellowship, 6502 E. Crossroads Blvd., Loveland. Visitation will be Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the church. Burial at Loveland Burial Park.
