KIKUMOTO, ROBERT DAVID Our dear beloved Son, Father, Brother, and Uncle left us unexpectedly on August 5, 2003. Robert was born on September 3, 1966 in Salt Lake City. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Robert was raised in Salt Lake City and Sandy, Utah. At an early age he loved being in the out doors fishing and hunting. He was an active member of the Boy Scouts of America. He attended Brighton High School where he joined the Rodeo Club and later became a good bull rider. Robert joined the Air Force National Guard after graduating from Brighton High School . He was a good student and obtained an Associates Degree from Salt Lake Community College and later attended the University of Utah and the University of Colorado where he majored in History. He began his career at Blue Cross and Blue Shield of Utah as a Computer Operator. He later worked for BC &BS in Denver, Reno and Albuquerque. He became an expert in telephony which gave him a great sense of pride because he could use those tools to serve his colleagues with world class service. He was a great server to all, not expecting recognition but just requesting respect. Everyone loved him because of his warm demeanor and tenderness. He was a mans man who loved the great outdoors. The pride of his life was his daughter, Karissa. He is survived by: Daughter, Karissa Kikumoto, Edgewood, NM, Parents, David and Nanette Kikumoto, Greenwood Village,CO, Sister, Mollee Kikumoto, Lakewood, CO, Brothers, Christian Kikumoto, Greenwood Village, CO, and Charles and AJ Kikumoto, Orem, Utah. Contributions for Karissas Educational Fund can be sent to the Rose Community Foundation, Denver Colorado in care of the Kikumoto Family Trust.
